Helena Johansson Lindell

HELENA JOHANSSON LINDELL (1983, Huskvarna, Sweden)

Helena Johansson Lindell is a Swedish artist and jewellery maker based in Stockholm. Her brightly colored pieces are made from recycled toys and kitchen utensils. Deconstructed, altered and reassembled, with hand tools and simple techniques.

Her work has been shown in several places around the world, including solo shows at Velvet da Vinci in San Francisco, USA; ATTA Gallery in Bangkok, Thailand and Galeria Alice Floriano in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In 2014 her work was part of Talente and recently her work was selected for Schmuck 2017, both exhibitions are part of the annual Internationale Handwerksmesse in Munich, Germany. She studied Jewellery+Corpus at Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts & Design in Stockholm, Sweden and earned a BA in Visual Art from Oslo National Academy of the Arts in Norway.

During 2013 Lindell lived and worked in Lisbon and her work has been available through Galeria Reverso since then.  Bio
